Beyond Perfect represents the difference between Mother nature and technology. As human beings, we strive to acheive and make things easier for ourselves. Becuase of this instinct, we develop technology. Artificial Technology. Technology is defined as the branch of knowledge that deals with the creation and use of technical means and their interrelation with life, society, and the environment, drawing upon such subjects as industrial arts, engineering, applied science, and pure science. the branch of knowledge that deals with the creation and use of technical means and their interrelation with life, society, and the environment, drawing upon such subjects as industrial arts, engineering, applied science, and pure science. Nature is defined as the natural world as it exists without human beings or civilization. Technology arose from the attempt to solve our problems, but in the end technology has caused more issues. Today's society focuses too much on moving forward to solve life's problems when all we have to do is take a few steps backwards. Technology runs out while nature takes care of itself. We buy a battery, it runs out, we toss it in the trash and its gone forever. A flower grows, a flower blooms, a flower dies, a flower decomposes, then a new flower grows... with out any help. The eraser is an example of the most simple aspect of something that turns into nothing. As we erase the eraser gets smaller and smaller and in the end it disappears. Energy used for technology doesnt restore itself. Nature restores itself. The arrows on the Earth represent renewal and how nature is independent and rejuvenates itself. The straight down arrow represnts how technology only moves downward never becoming anything else... just goes to waste. Humans will never be able to build something as strong and powerful and independent as nature. Today's society separates itslef from nature. We do not consider ourselves part of nature. If we as humans reconnect with nature our problems will be solved.
